Theresa approaches life and the hiring process with enthusiasm, focus and fervor.
She began her career in recruitment in 2009. Theresa’s practice area focused on Sales and Marketing with a specialization in Insurance and Agriculture. Within two years, she was the top producer in the firm, with one of the largest and most successful recruiting practices in Winnipeg.
With a desire to understand recruiting from within an organization Theresa joined a national agriculture company in 2015 with the mandate of building a recruiting division from the ground up. After five years in her role as Corporate Director of Recruiting, she made the decision to return to agency recruitment.
It was while working back in a search agency she saw how much the recruiting landscape had changed. Theresa identified a gap between internal recruiting and external recruiting and designed Customized Recruitment to offer businesses a better way to support the hiring of top talent
In addition to Theresa’s extensive recruiting experience, she has been an executive level volunteer board member holding the positions of Chair of the Board for the Canadian Association of Agri Retailers, and Vice President, Board of Directors for Ag in the Classroom. Additionally she served 3 years as member of the Board of Directors for the MS Society of Manitoba.
